‘Wonderful, funny, moving and unassuming.’
The Stranger, USA

‘A wonderful body of work’ The Guardian

Hello everyone,

This is one not to be missed. Time and time again these guys deliver great performances (in my opinion of course!). 2008 sees Gregg Whelan and Gary Winters celebrating 11 years of performance making as Lone Twin. Across the world the company’s work is met with critical and popular acclaim with a truly international audience enjoying an ever-diverse range of works for stage, studio and public space.

About the Show:

“Daniel Hit By A Train”

Lone Twin Theatre stage 53 true stories. In each story a person loses their life in the attempt to save the life of another; Amelia Kennedy dies trying to save her sister from their burning house, Dr Samuel Rabbeth dies trying to clear an obstruction from the throat of a 4-year old diphtheria patient, Edward Morris dies trying to save the life of his drowning companion and famed pantomime artiste, Sarah Smith, dies trying to save her colleague from an on-stage fire.

Daniel Hit By A Train is the company’s second ensemble work continuing the biographical project that began with the internationally celebrated Alice Bell.
